Petros Petrocostas
Founder & CEO
Petros is the owner of APORIGINES Ltd.
His educational background includes an MSc. in Financial Mathematics (distinction) from CassBusiness School (City University) and a BSc. in Mathematics and Statistics(first class honours) from Manchester University.
As of 2006 he is a holder ofthe Advanced Level CySEC (Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission)Certificate.
He started his career back in 2004 as a risk officer in Depfa Investment Bank. After two years he moved to the trading floor where he worked as a Fixed Income and FX trader. In 2008 he moved to the Treasury Department of Cyprus Popular Bank where he was responsible for investments inglobal capital markets, product structuring and interest rate hedging. His duties also involved close collaboration with the Private Banking department for executing clients’ orders.
Petros also worked for one and a half year as aportfolio manager with AJK Wealth, where he was responsible for constructing,managing, and rebalancing clients’ portfolios. He was also a member of theInvestment Committee, setting investment strategy across a range of assetclasses like bonds, equities, commodities, mutual funds and cash.
Between 2015 and 2020 Petros served as the CEO of Symmetria F.S. Ltd a Cyprus basedInvestment Firm which was specialised in servicing local provident and pensionFunds.
Having gained a broad experience in the financial sector he decided to switch to a free-lance model and thus created APORIGINES Ltd. through which he offers his personalised services to clients.
Costas Pringipas
IT Specialist
By day, Costas is a full-time IT teacher at a high school, where he brings the world of technology to life for his students. With a solid foundation in Computer Science from UCL and a Master’s in Educational Technology from CSULB, he is well-equipped to prepare the next generation for the digital age.
Costas calls the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus home. It’s here that he enjoys life’s simple pleasures alongside his family. Happily married to Elpida, they are proud parents to two wonderful children, Zoe and George, affectionately referred to as his “mini-mes.”
When he’s not shaping minds, Costas indulges in the art of stand-up comedy, sharing laughs and good times. A connoisseur of a good cup of coffee, he loves engaging conversations about psychology and philosophy, always ready to delve into the depths of the human mind and existence.
